Old Town reflects the rich mining history of Park City, which was incorporated as a city in 1884, eighteen years after silver was discovered in its mountains. Many of the original commercial and residential buildings still remain, reflecting the Victorian architecture of that era. Main Street in Old Town is known for its great shops, world class restaurants, art galleries and unique character. The residential section of Old Town is close to skiing at Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort, historic Main Street and the free bus. Lots are small and homes are close together offering a quaint and cozy feel to the town. The newer section of Old Town is located near Park City Mountain Resort, the ski resort connected to Main Street via the Town Lift. Newer condominium developments in this area include the Sky Lodge, Caledonian and Silver Star. The public Park City Municipal Golf Course is adjacent to Old Town. Old Town homes are occupied by both full time and part time residents who enjoy being walking distance from Main Street. Nightly rentals are allowed in most areas.

This neighborhood features views of the heavily forested canyons, ski runs, and valleys and fine dining options.
Deer Crest is a gated community of ski in/ski out estate homes at Deer Valley Resort that are accessed via the Deer Crest Gondola. Many properties have beautiful views of the Jordanelle reservoir and Tuhaye and Hideout Canyon golf courses. Most are occupied by second home owners. Deer Crest is home to the St. Regis Deer Crest Resort-Hotel .
This is the newest neighborhood in Deer Valley and is clustered around the Empire Lodge. The neighborhood is entirely ski in/out. Custom single family homes are located in Red Cloud and Bannerwood. The Village at Empire Pass area is home to the Grand Lodge, Arrowleaf, Silver Strike, Ironwood and Shooting Star condominiums and the Larkspur and Paintbrush townhomes. Empire Pass is also a center for the Talisker Club and home to the Montage Hotel, a newly built luxury hotel-condominium.
Lower Deer Valley includes the neighborhoods of Solamere, The Oaks, Royal Oaks and Hidden Oaks. Popular condominiums and townhomes include Pinnacle, Queen Esther, Four Lakes Village and The Lodges. These are just a quick shuttle ride to the resort’s Snow Park Lodge. The newly built St. Regis Hotel is ski in/out to Snow Park Lodge, as are Powder Run and Black Diamond Lodge.
Glenwild is an exclusive gated community with estate-sized homes overlooking the Number 1 rated golf course in Utah. Glenwild sits on 950 acres and allows for less than 200 homes on the property. A magnificent 39,000 square foot clubhouse and spa and its convenient location make Glenwild one of the most coveted neighborhoods in Park City. The community of Aerie sits high above Old Town and offers stunning views of Old Town, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort. The Aerie features luxury homes and townhomes. The Aerie is close to the action, yet far enough away to offer privacy, tranquility and wildlife. The Aerie is occupied mostly by second homeowners but more primary residents and families are moving into the area.

Promontory offers spectacular views of Park City and is only 30 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport and 3 miles east of Park City. Promontory offers single family homes, homesites and developer-built cabins. Promontory is not within the Park City School District.
Jeremy Ranch is a community clustered around The Jeremy Ranch Golf and Country Club. Easy access to Salt Lake City makes Jeremy Ranch ideal for families with a commute to Salt Lake City. Jeremy Ranch is home to mostly full time residents. There are moderately priced homes on the lower part of the mountain and estate-sized homes in The Back Nine, Bear Hollow and The Trails subdivisions towards the top of the mountain. Many homes have dramatic views of The Jeremy Ranch golf course and all three ski resorts.
The Aspen Springs, Thaynes Canyon and Iron Canyon neighborhood homes are near the Park City Municipal Golf Course (which is used for cross country skiing in the winter) and are close to Park City Mountain Resort skiing and the amenities at the Hotel Park City. These neighborhoods are conveniently close to Old Town but are sited on larger lots. They are also connected to the Kimball Junction area via the Park City trail system and are adjacent to one hundred twenty acres of open space surrounding the historic McPolin Barn. These neighborhoods are occupied by both full time and part time residents.
Park Meadows is an area with many different subdivisions and is home to both full time and second home residents. Park Meadows is close to Old Town, with some homes on the free bus route and many overlooking the private Park Meadows Golf Course. Many homes have incredible ski resort and golf course views and are close to the Park City trail system. Sandstone Cove is a gated luxury home community within Park Meadows. Park Meadows is also a major shopping and commercial area, and is the home of McPolin Elementary, Treasure Mountain Middle School, Park City High School and the Eccles Performing Arts Center. Ridgeview, Westview, Risner Ridge, Fairway Hills, Mountain Ridge, Glen Eagles, Sandstone Cove, West Ridge and Holiday Ranch are among the Park Meadows subdivisions known for their expansive views and estate-sized homes. Condominiums and townhomes range from the ever-popular Racquet Club and Four Lakes condominiums to newer luxury residences like Last Sun at the Cove.
Silver Creek is a neighborhood of rural, horse property and includes the gated neighborhoods of Red Hawk, The Preserve and Goshawk, with estate-sized lots and homes. Tollgate Canyon is also part of the Silver Creek area. Tollgate Canyon is very rustic with affordable homes, but is not in the Park City school district. Silver Creek residents enjoy wide open spaces with large acreage and amazing ski resort views. Homesites start at around 2.5 acres and increase to 10 acres or more. Some of the homes are on water wells and utilize septic tank systems. Many roads in the Silver Creek area are not paved to accommodate the neighbors who enjoy riding their horses through its streets. The Silver Creek neighborhood gives one the feeling of being away from it all, yet it is only a 15 minute drive to the Park City ski areas and a 10 minute drive to shopping in the popular Kimball Junction area. The eclectic Silver Creek neighborhood homes range from the very affordable to large gentleman ranches.
Single family residential housing in this area ranges from luxury residential areas such as the Colony at White Pine Canyon to affordable condominiums. The Colony incorporates approximately 260 homesites, including some of the largest ski-in, ski-out homesites in the nation, spread over 4,400 acres. The Canyons area is also home to the affordable condominium communities of Hidden Creek, Red Pine and the newer luxury hotel-condominiums such as The Waldorf Park City and Hyatt Escala Lodge. Other hotel-condominiums include Silverado and The Westgate. These hotel-condominiums offer the convenience of hotel service and amenities during the owner’s stay and rental income when the owner is away.
The Olympic Park community, located below the Olympic ski jump, includes the mostly full time residential communities of Sun Peak, Mahogany Hills and Bear Hollow. These subdivisions enjoy use of the Sun Peak Community Center, one of the best valued amenities in Park City. The Community Center has a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts and meeting room complete with a full kitchen. These communities have many full time and some second home residents and are very close to the Canyons ski resort and are connected to Kimball Junction via the Park City trail system. The Bear Hollow Village subdivision was built in the mid 2000′s and has reasonably priced condominiums, townhomes & single family homes which can be placed in a nightly rental pool. This community also has its own gym and swimming pool. The Cove at Sun Peak is a townhome community with nice views over the Silver Springs lakes. These townhomes can be rented to long term renters, but nightly vacation rentals are prohibited. Owners have use of the Sun Peak Community Center amenities.
This area is conveniently located near the Canyons ski resort, connected to Kimball Junction and Park City via the trail system. Close to shopping and dining, Old Ranch Road’s large ranches, farms and open space make it feel miles away from it all. The area is home to mostly full time residents and includes the gated community of Quarry Mountain Ranch, featuring estate-sized homes on 2-7 acre homesites, and Willow Creek Estates, a community of newer estate-sized homes with beautiful views. Snyder’s Mill is a subdivision with newer family homes. The community is anchored by Willow Creek Park, a lovely public park with play areas for children, soccer fields and a hockey pond.
Easy access to Salt Lake City makes Pinebrook ideal for families with a commute into the city. Located across Highway 80 from Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook ranges from moderately priced neighborhoods on the lower part of the mountain, to estate-sized homes in Pineridge, at the top. The Pinebrook area has its own private trail system with convenient access to Park City’s Mid Mountain Trail and the Kimball Junction trails. Pinebrook is heavily forested, offering an alpine feel. Quarry Village Shopping Center, walking distance from many Pinebrook neighborhoods, has a grocery store, Starbucks, salon, and restaurants. This shopping area hosts a farmers market and outdoor concerts in the summer.
The Kimball Junction area offers full and second home residents in the Newpark and Redstone communities easy access to an incredible variety of shopping and dining amenities. There is even a bowling alley! Nightly rentals are allowed in both communities. The Newpark Hotel offers additional amenities. This area also features a public indoor recreation center, the free bus transit hub, and professional office suites. A short walk away are the Tanger Factory Outlet stores, the Utah Olympic Park, and Summit County Library. A professional research park is under construction. Nearby condominium communities include Canyon Creek, Powderwood and Bear Hollow Village.
The Trailside Park neighborhoods include the newer, estate-sized homes of Mountain Ranch Estates, the communities of Park Ridge Estates, Trailside, Silver Summit, Sagebrook and Sun Meadows, and the horse properties of Highland Estates. These neighborhoods are connected via the trail system to the amenities at Kimball Junction and enjoy easy access to public Trailside Park, with multiple play areas and soccer fields. The Trailside Park neighborhood is mostly full time residents. Many of the homes enjoy incredible views of the Park City ski resorts and Olympic Park.
The Silver Springs neighborhoods are very popular with full time residents and include Silver Springs, Northshore, Southshore and Ranch Place. These flatter neighborhoods have mature trees, are close to parks and connected to Kimball Junction and Park City through the trail system. Silver Springs is also near the Canyons Ski Resort. The Silver Springs master homeowners association offers two lakes for row boating or kayaking, tennis courts and private parks. There are both condominiums and single family homes in this area, some with excellent mountain views.
An eclectic, rustic, mountain community with mostly full time residents, Summit Park is one of the few neighborhoods in Park City offering a true alpine lifestyle, with mature evergreen trees, trails and abundant wildlife. Summit Park’s easy access to Salt Lake City and some of the most affordable properties in the Park City school district make this area popular for families.
Tuhaye is one of three Talisker communities in the Park City area. Located off of Highway 248, Tuhaye offers homesites from just under an acre to five acres surrounding the Mark O’Meara designed golf course. Recreation choices at Tuhaye, in addition to golf, include a spectacular spa and fitness facility, swimming pools, and tennis.
